At the junction of Emmental, BE and Entlebuch, LU, there is a loop that takes us through an alpine pasture, at about 1300 m, that is famous, locally, for being covered with wild crocuses in the spring (Rämisgummen).
We were a bit early for the carpet of crocuses but saw some, primulas and daffodils. After the initial steep climb, it was a pleasant walk along a ridge then some ups and downs on rolling hills, all with views of the surrounding mountains. Clouds came and went mid-afternoon but it was very mild.

Au croisement de l’Emmental et de l’Entlebuch , il y a une boucle qui nous fait traverser un alpage, à environ 1300 m, qui est célèbre localement, pour être couvert de crocus sauvages au printemps (Rämisgummen).
Nous étions un peu en avance pour le tapis de crocus, mais nous en avons vu quelques-uns, ainsi que des primevères et jonquilles. Après la montée raide initiale, ce fut une marche agréable le long d’une crête, puis sur des collines ondulantes, avec vue sur les montagnes environnantes. Des nuages sont apparus en milieu d’après-midi, mais il faisait très doux.
