Taking advantage of another few days of fine and mild weather, I took a bus to Herzogenbuchsee and went on an easy and varied 18 km walk to Wynigen.
The autumn is warm, so the trees in the forest are still very green, a bit of a disappointment for another walker who had gone in the woods hoping to see the yellow, red and brown leaves typical of the season. It will have to wait.
This lovely walk took me through beautiful forests, where families were enjoying the good weather and well set up grilling areas for one more barbecue. Smoke and delicious smell were hanging around.
The hamlet of Oschwand, where the Swiss painter Cuno Amiet lived for a long time is part of a loop (https://www.amiet-hesse-weg.ch/de/home) that takes you to the sites where he and his pupil, Bruno Hesse, set up their easels in these rural areas.
The Mutzbachgraben is a trench that leads past a 14m high waterfall before climbing up to rolling hills and villages.
Automne vert
Profitant de quelques jours supplémentaires de beau temps et de douceur, j’ai pris un bus pour Herzogenbuchsee pour une randonnée facile et variée de 18 km jusqu’à Wynigen.
Etant donné les températures clémentes de cet automne, les arbres de la forêt sont encore très verts, ce qui a un peu déçu un autre promeneur qui était allé dans les bois en espérant voir les feuilles jaunes, rouges et brunes typiques de la saison. Il faudra attendre.
Cette balade m’a fait traverser de belles forêts, où les familles profitaient du beau temps et des coins grillades bien installées pour un (peut-être) dernier barbecue. De la fumée et des odeurs délicieuses flottaient dans l’air.
Le hameau d’Oschwand, où le peintre suisse Cuno Amiet a longtemps vécu, fait partie d’une boucle (https://www.amiet-hesse-weg.ch/de/home) qui vous emmène sur les sites où lui et son élève Bruno Hesse ont posé leur chevalet dans ces zones rurales.
Le Mutzbachgraben est un val étroit qui passe devant une chute d’eau de 14 mètres de haut avant que le sentier ne remonte vers des collines et villages.
