Visitors

We enjoyed the visit of Christine and Bill, the only friends to have come to both Rotterdam and Solothurn, our two bases in the past few years.

Although the week had started with cool and rainy weather (a drop of 20°c), it improved enough to  visit Berne, walk along Lake Thun and hike up the Jura to the two summits of the canton of Solothurn (Hasenmatt and Röti) before getting into the 30s again.

Until  next time, be it in Mauritius or Granada.

Nous avons reçu la visite de Christine et Bill, les seuls amis à être venus à la fois à Rotterdam et à Soleure, nos deux bases ces dernières années.

Bien que la semaine ait commencé par un temps frais et pluvieux (une chute de 20°c), il s’est suffisamment amélioré pour visiter Berne, se promener le long du lac de Thoune et faire une randonnée dans le Jura jusqu’aux deux sommets du canton de Soleure (Hasenmatt et Röti) avant d’atteindre à nouveau les 30°c.

A la prochaine fois, que ce soit à l’île Maurice ou à Grenade.
