After our ten days in Puglia, we wanted to go to Spain. Flights to the mainland from Bari were leaving or arriving at inconvenient times, except for a flight to Mallorca.
We had originally thought of spending a few nights on this island we like very much, but it was not to be, as everything seemed to be booked out. We did find a room in a hotel not far from the port. It proved convenient, as we then arranged to take a ferry to Valencia.
The trip itself was great, the ferry was not crowded at all, we could move around at will and spent a couple of hours reading on deck chairs. We could admire the island as we left, passed to the north of Ibiza before arriving in Valencia, where there were some enormous cargos as well as a number of ferries.
A relaxing way to travel.

Après nos dix jours dans les Pouilles, nous voulions nous rendre en Espagne. Les vols depuis Bari partaient ou arrivaient à des heures indues, à part celui pour Majorque.
Nous avions pensé rester quelques jours sur cette île que nous apprécions mais cela n’a pas été possible car il n’y avait presque aucune disponibilité. Nous avons pu trouver une chambre dans un hôtel près du port, ce qui nous arrangeait puisque nous devions prendre le ferry pour Valence.
Le voyage s’est très bien passé, le ferry n’avait que peu de passagers, on pouvait se promener et nous avons passé deux heures à lire dans les chaises-longues sur l’un des ponts. Nous avons pu admirer la côte de l’île, sommes passés au nord d’Ibiza avant d’arriver dans le port de Valence, où il y avait des cargos énormes et des ferrys.
Une traversée relaxante.
