Our boat left Trondheim at around noon and we passed the Arctic circle the next morning before 8 am (there was a contest to guess the right time between 7.30 and 8.30 am).
The boat is wonderful, no music, no constant “entertainment”, we just watch the scenery. There are several excursions available at each stop, should one wish to take part. We have extended our trip by another two nights.
The weather cleared up as we went further north.
Au-delà du cercle polaire arctique
Notre bateau a quitté Trondheim vers midi et nous avons passé le cercle polaire arctique le lendemain matin avant 8 heures (il y avait un concours pour deviner l’heure exacte entre 7h30 et 8h30).
Le bateau est très plaisant, pas de musique, pas de divertissement constant, nous regardons juste le paysage. Plusieurs excursions sont disponibles à chaque arrêt, si l’on souhaite y participer. Nous avons prolongé notre voyage de deux nuits supplémentaires.
Le temps s’est éclairci au fur et à mesure que nous avancions vers le nord.
